Buying Office Supplies Can Make a Difference – Share Your Charity Opinion

Zuma Office Supply is researching new charities to add to our list of supported charities, and we are interested in your opinions.  Zuma is in business to make a difference, and so we give back to worthwhile charities that do good work.  Our mission is to donate a minimum of 50% of our annual profits to great charities that support a range of important causes.

And that’s where you come in.   We are looking to add one more charity to support, and we are interested in learning the causes that are important to you.  To help with our decision, we really appreciate your answering a quick one question survey.

It only takes a minute, and your response can truly make a difference.  There is also an area to write-in a cause or charity you would like us to consider.  In the event we have a groundswell of write-in support for a specific cause or charity, we will consider these causes/charities in our decision.  Tell your friends to help generate support for the cause important to you!


For your information, we currently support these causes and charities:
Cancer Research – The V Foundation
Children – Big Brothers Big Sisters and Save the Children
Humanitarian Aid – The Salvation Army
Hunger – The Capital Area Food Bank
Military Families – The Fisher House Foundation
Pets & Animals – Best Friends Animal Society
Prison Mentorship – Prison Entrepreneurship Program
Addiction & Recovery – Hazelden

Zuma customers are given the opportunity to “vote” for the charity they prefer we support when checking out.  That way they have a voice in where our donations go.  For example, if 20% of our customers select The V Foundation as their charity of choice, then 20% of our charitable donations for that year are donated to the V Foundation.

Who would have thought the routine task of buying office supplies could actually help others!  In just over two years in business, we have already donated over $16,000 to great charities, (even though as a new business we have not made a profit in those first years).  As we grow, our contributions will grow, and we will help make a difference for others more and more.

    Your company makes an admirable humanitarian effort. As a fellow office supply company (albeit a janitorial and cleaning supply and equipment company) we attempt to make a similar effort through focusing on green products.
